| Phone Consults with Dr. Ford |
We recommend that you develop a working relationship with a local avian veterinarian. Phone consults are available to help your veterinarian. Records and x-rays can be sent by e-mail and we can discuss your bird's case over the phone. Please note that this should be conducted with your veterinarian. Federal law prohibits prescribing medications without an established ("hands-on") relationship with the bird.
Your veterinarian can contact Dr. Ford at vet@alaskabirddoc.com or call at 360-271-7000. He can also travel to your town if airfare is provided.
