Association of Avian Veterinarians Annual Conference, Milwaukee, WI: August 8-13. This year Dr. Ford has worked with two other presenters to provide a raptor master class and laboratory. This year's master class is a systemic approach discussing anatomy and medicine of the integument and the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts.

NEW! (June 3, 2009): Konner the falcon is back in action after Dr. Ford repaired a severe fracture of his right leg. Check out the full story here!
NEW! (April 28-May 12): Fieldwork in New Brunswick, Canada. Dr. Ford travelled to Maryland and then to New Brunswick to assist Dr. Glenn Olsen and the USGS in implanting satellite transmitters in wild black scoters (Melanitta americana). Take a look at the full story here!
